Looking for a range bar close marker which dynamically marks the level at which the current range bar will close. Thanks for any help.

    Hello srbdoc

    Thanks for your post.

In the NinjaTrader 7 indicator file sharing area a member has posted a range bar marker, here is the description:
"This indicator is for range charts only. It will draw a box around the current candle that indicates how much further a bar would have to move before the range is exhausted and new bar begins to paint.

This box is dynamic in that it adjusts in height based on the current size of the candle. In this way it is always indicating the maximum extent possible for the current candle.

It will also highlight this box using colors depending on how close the candle size is the maximum. Optionally, this indicator can also print the high and low price of the box's range just above and below the box itself.

This indicator is publicly available for free from our forum (registration required, but is free)

    Download Indicator From: http://ninjatrader.com/support/forum...hp?&linkid=328

Here is a basic guideline of how to Import NinjaScripts.

To import NinjaScripts you will need the original .zip file.

    To Import

Download the NinjaScripts to your desktop, keep them in the compressed .zip file.

From the Control Center window select the menu File> Utilities> Import NinjaScript

    Select the downloaded .zip file

NinjaTrader will then confirm if the import has been successful.

Critical - Specifically for some NinjaScripts, it will prompt that you are running newer versions of @SMA, @EMA, etc. and ask if you want to replace, press 'No'

Once installed, you may add the indicator to a chart by:

Right click you chart > indicators > Select the Indicator from the list on the left > New > OK
