Optimization giving different results from backtest with same parameters

And log file keeps giving error msg :
Failed to call method " initialize" for strategy " _aaa_entry_at_good_price/........": sth like that.
by the way "_aaa_entry_at_good_price" is not the strategy I was optimizaing or backtesting.

Thank you for writing in.

The Initialize() method will be called for all strategies when the Strategy Analyzer is opened. This log message would denote an error occurring in the "_aaa_entry_at_good_price" strategy.

As a test, are you able to reproduce the behavior on the SampleMACrossOver strategy as well?

Are you connected to a data feed while backtesting and optimizing?

Can you provide screenshots of the parameters you have used for the optimize, the results, and the parameters you have used for your backtest and the results from that?

Alternatively to send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.
