    Can't open Ninja

    Hello,
    I tried to delete a user from the workgroup on my computer and didn't do it right apparently. The rest of the programs on my computer seem to be fine, but Ninja won't start. I get this Error message:
    "Unable to open trace file 'C:\Users\Rick\Documents\NinjaTrader7\trace\trace. 20160503.txt': Access to the path 'C:\Users\Rick\Documents\NinjaTrader7\trace\trace. 20160503.txt' is denied."
    Can someone give me an idea of how to fix this?

    Thanks for your post.

    I'd like to see your log and trace files. Please send me a note to platformsupport (at) ninjatrader (dot) com. Attach your most current log and trace files to the email, and put a link to this forum post in the body of the email. Please note "ATTN: Drew" in the body of the response.

    You will find the log file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.

    The log file will be named "log.20160503.txt"

    You will find the trace file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.

    The trace file will be named "trace.20160503.txt"

      Thanks for responding. There is no trace for today. I think that is part of the problem. The last trace I have is from 20160423.

        Thanks for your reply.

        Out of curiosity, would there be a log file for today's date?

        This sort of behavior can be caused by another program accessing NinjaTrader's files while NinjaTrader is active, or by NInjaTrader being otherwise blocked by a program on your PC. Commonly, these programs would be antivirus, firewall, or backup sortware.

        Do you have any such programs on your PC running when you see this behavior? If so, do you see the same with these programs shut down?
