Can I do live trading on two different computers

Can I do live trading on two different computers, if so how do I connect the second computer to my live trading account? Thanks.

    Hello,

    Thanks for your note.

You can trade live on multiple PC's. However, the same live license key may not be used on multiple PC's simultaneously, and many data providers do not allow for multiple instances of the same account connection to be used simultaneously.

I would be happy to provide a connection guide for your typical data provider to get connected on another PC. Who do you connect to for data?

Remote Desktop into your live computer? TeamViewer? Any other 3rd party type access into your main computer?

            Hello,

To connect on the second PC, you would need to set up the same account connection on the same PC. What connection technology does your account connection use? Examples: Rithmic, NinjaTrader Continuum, FXCM, etc.

                Hello paulcleo,

                Thank you for your reply,

You will need the login details for your NinjaTrader Continuum account connection (BrokereageSupport[AT]NinjaTrader[DOT]com can resend upon your request if needed).

From there, you will set up the connection within NinjaTrader via Tools > Account Connections > Add.

The following link will take you to a page that details the steps required for creating a connection to NinjaTrader Continuum.

I did that but it says my username & password that I used before is invalid when I try to connect on a different laptop. How do I fix this. Thanks.

You will need to send BrokereageSupport[AT]NinjaTrader[DOT]com a request to resend your login details for you to verify.

                    * The log in credentials are case-sensitive and can be difficult to type manually. I advise copying and pasting them directly from the email into NinjaTrader. Make sure, when highlighting to copy, that no extra spaces are highlighted before or after the log in details.

                    * For the live account, make sure the "Demo Mode" box is not selected when entering the log in details. You will still be able to access the Sim101 account for demo, paper or practice trades.

thanks mate you have inspired me
this is way cheaper then subscribing to a cloud service (just buy a cheap computer and leave it running under your bed making automated trades while i sleep )

                      a decent VPS will cost $120 per month = $1440 a year
your own decent computer = $250 one time payment

                      its a win situation

See the full Brett Eldredge concert schedule so you can plan when you be able to visit his concert. But beware, tickets might be sold out!
