    Indicator on OrderFilled

    I want to create a simple indicator (not a strategy) that is activated once an order has been filled but have only found one reference from 2012 which looked like this:

    private void OnExecution(object sender, ExecutionUpdateEventArgs e)
    {
    if (e.Execution.Order != null)
    {

    if (e.Execution.Order.OrderState == OrderState.Filled)
    {
    do this ......

    return;
    }

    Is this valid? Are there other references somewhere? What is the simplest way to say LongOrderFilled now do this, and ShortOrderFilled, now do that.

    Hello,
    Thank you for your post.
    It is unsupported to check fills or to have an indicator check the market position.
    You can use the OnExecution() method and and Position.MarketPosition in a strategy.
    I would recommend to review the following reference for OnExecution(): http://ninjatrader.com/support/forum...ead.php?t=7499

    For more information on the Position propery please see the following link: http://ninjatrader.com/support/helpG...7/position.htm
