Instrument Data dissapears in Ninjatrader Brokerage Demo

I am currently using the Ninjatrader trial via Ninjatrader Brokerage. When I start Ninjatrader I can open a chart and switch between instruments eg.Cl, 6E, ES and have no problem seeing data for each instrument.

However, after a period of time (say 30mins) when I switch back between Instruments I get a blank chart with no data. For example, if Im in CL I have data but then switch to 6E I get no data. Then if I switch back to CL I get data.

If I restart Ninjatrader I once again get all data.

Any idea what is causing this. Its doing my head in.

Hi Steve,

Are you seeing any exception trapped errors appearing in the trace?

You will find your NinjaTrader trace file in the following directory:

• (My) Documents\NinjaTrader 7\trace\trace.20160616.txt

Is OneDrive or any other type of backup software enabled?

What type of anti-virus do you have?

I have Google Drive enabled
Running Windows 10
No antivirus running

Hello Steve,

I would recommend first that the Documents folder be removed from Google Drive and any other backup software as these can interfere with NinjaTrader reading the cache and historical data.

If after removing the Documents folder from all backup software, if the behavior continues please send an email to platformsupport [at] ninjatrader [dot] com. In the email include a link to this forum thread.
