can't send email

    can't send email

    I keep getting error: "failed to mail: you must setup your email account settings"
    I'm in the tools->options->misc tab but not sure what to do from here

    Thank you for the question.

    You would need to configure an email account in order to use the email features in the platform. To do this you would need to get the SMTP server information for the email provider you use. Often this information can be found by using google or contacting the provider. A simple example is gmail, you could search for "Gmail SMTP settings" and the result here would be the settings needed for NinjaTrader depending on how the gmail account is configured: https://support.google.com/a/answer/176600?hl=en

    After finding the information for the email provider you use, enter the information and press OK to the options menu to save it. Then you can do the email test after saving the information, if you do not click the OK button to save the test will fail.
