So it looks like my stop has to be within the previous halt... and I have a feeling the previous halt isn't important anymore...

So the market will probably trade past this area and there is no way I will make $ to the upside.

When I create a 1 Minute chart, I see trading was halted at 1999.00 as well. It started trading again at 1:08 AM Eastern time.

Many commodities went "limit down" at some point in the night. Always keep it in mind: eminis are considered by the exchanges as commodities, and any commodity, no matter how rare, can go "limit down" or "limit up".

For the safety of your account, it is important to remember that. Especially so as it does not happen very often in the financial markets, and one tends to forget that it can happen.

Well, I realize that. I had waited for ES to open again.

I could not place a stop under the floor of 1999.00. I was able to place one at 1999.00. I didn't stay up all night to figure out when that restricting would be lifted.

My main complaint is about the ES prices in the error message - they were off by 100. Obviously someone screwed it up as they probably really never had to test for this case. I don't know if it was my broker, NT7 code logic, or Rithmic code.
