cant connect to tws

    cant connect to tws

    hello,

    i have an account with captrader, an introducing broker for interactivebrokers.

    i get this message when i want to connect nt to my ib account.

    can someone help?

    Thank you for writing in.

    Please follow the instructions below:
    • Shut down NinjaTrader
    • Locate javaw.exe located in the following directory: C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_25\bin(Note your version may be different from jre1.8.0_25)
    • You are going to COPY the javaw.exe file to the 'clipboard' (right-click Javaw.exe and select copy)
    • Now paste it into the following two directories:
      C:\Windows\System32
      C:\Windows\SysWOW64


    Please, let us know if you are still seeing the error message after following the steps above.

        Please ensure that you have Trader Workstation version 944.3 installed on your computer: http://www.ninjatrader.com/ninjatrad...tall_944_3.exe

          o.k. i did it.

          when i open nt and want to connect to tws happens this.

          after a few times the nt wants to connect to tws.

            Have you ensured that you have configured TWS with the specific instructions specified in the connection guide below?



            Can you verify that you are running TWS 944.3? The version can be found under Help -> About -> Scroll to the build # in TWS.

              yes, tws 944.3 is new installed. also nt.

              same problem every time.

                Am I correct 'Auto logon' is not enabled in the Interactive Brokers connection settings? If so, do you see a pop up message in TWS that asks to accept an incoming connection? If so, please click Yes in this window and check if the connection is established in NinjaTrader.

                  yes, auto logon is disabled.

                  1. i start tws
                  2. i start nt7
                  3. i connect nt7 to tws
                  4. i dont get a pop up - tws wants to log into the tws again and wants me to enter the security code dard authentication.

                    Can you please enable 'Auto logon' for the IB connection in NinjaTrader. Go to Control Center-->Tools-->Account Connections, highlight your connection and click Change. Click Next twice and enable 'Auto logon'. Click Next until you finish the connection. Perform the steps you describe and check if you can get connected.
