Data Failed to Retrieve

Hi,

When i am completing a strategy analysis with a yahoo data link, is there a way to just store the instruments that it could not retrieve data for or do you have to physically click the 'ok' button on the "error on loading chart data for 'aaa' default : failed to retrieve data from yahoo." error message.

You can remove instruments from an instrument list in the Instrument Manager. More information can be found at the link below.

I need a trial data feed for Forex that has historical data

Hi,

I am trying out Ninja Trader, but I would like to see how the Strategy Analyzer works for Forex. I do not have an account with one of your broker feeds yet, so I need a trial data feed. Do any of them offer forex historical data? Gain does not.

Connect to the Free Real-Time Simulation Account
Prior to setting up a GAIN Capital/Forex.com account connection you must have installed NinjaTrader.
Please review the installation guide for further instructions.

1. Start NinjaTrader
2. From within the Control Center window, select “Tools > Account Connections...”
3. In the Account Connection Set Up window, press Add...
4. Follow the instructions provided in the Connection Wizard
5. Select "Use NinjaTrader servers" for Historical Data
6. Select “Demo” under the Mode option list
7. Complete the wizard
8. From within the Control Center window, select "Tools > Options > Misc"
9. Set the value for the property "Quote currencies (FX) in" to "Pip"
10. You will now be able to connect to a free real-time rate simulation account
    via the Control Center window “File > Connect” menu
