^TICK chart not updating

    ^TICK chart not updating

    My ^TICK chart is not updating in real time. If I alter the timeframe, it updates but then remains dead.
    Any suggestions?

    Thank you for your post.

    Who are you connected to? This is displayed in green on the lower left corner of the Control Center window.

    What is the expiry of the instrument you have selected?

    Do you receive an error on screen? Are there errors on the Log tab of the Control Center? If so, what do these errors report?

      - There was a message first thing this morning concerning CQG and DJTIC - but DJTIC I assume is not the same as ^TICK.

        Are you using a demo or live account? Also, which version of NinjaTrader are you using, NT7 or NT8?

            Hello,

            Thank you for your response.

            Please reset your instruments by following the steps below.

            Disconnect from your data feed: NinjaTrader Control Center> File> Disconnect> Select your data feed.
            Reset your Instruments: NinjaTrader Control Center> Tools> Options> Data tab> Reset Instruments>OK.
            Restart NinjaTrader> Connect (NinjaTrader Control Center> File> Connect> Select your connection.

            If you are still unable to get live data for ^TICK, you will need to contact your broker to ask about being enabled for this instrument.

            Please let us know if we may be of further assistance.
