Making Heiken/Ashi candles to take less system resources

Hi Support/Ninjausers

I am using the default HeikenAshi,which plots drawobjects for each and every bar, and is making the chart resource intensive and is very noticeable. Is there anyway to achieve the HeikenAshi candles,with less system resources.

Is there anyway to plot the HeikenAshi candles using ninja bars instead of plotting a drawobject on every bar.

Unfortunately this is the only possible way to achieve Heiken Ashi candles from an indicator solution.

You may want to reduce the number of indicators and/or charts you have up. A lot of indicators and/or charts will slow down your computer.

Sorry to know that. Many charting platforms have the HeikenAshi as a default thing, with built in functionality. If possible I would like to request this feature,so that you make HeikenAshi as a Ninja core functionaility (without using draw objects), so that it is less resource intensive.

Right now, I have noticed that Ninja freezes for atleast 2 seconds,..on volume bursts, many times a day, when using HeikenAshi. Without HeikenAshi, it works fine.

I agree, could be a built-in feature to choose from within the properties menu of the chart. Should be relatively easy to implement!

Thanks Jesicca. Also it would be useful, if user functions can be provided so for plotting/modifying candle open/close/high/low and candle wick ( high/low and width). So that users can use these functions to code.

Can you tell me if the below feature requests are being added to the enhancement list. Would be real nice to see a common feature like Heiken Ashi become a default (with builtin ) instead of the current memory intensive way of using draw objects for every candle.

Removing the draw objects would also improve the look n feel of the HeikenAshi hopefully. Right now there is no way of adding a "candleoutline" to HeikenAshi candles.

Also it would be useful, if along with this default HeikenAshi user functions can be provided for plotting/modifying candle open/close/high/low and candle wick ( high/low and width). So that users can use these less memory intensive functions to code, instead of working around by using draw objects as candles right now. I would request to consider adding these user functions as well to the enhancement list.

Just wanted to confirm that Ninja is adding the built in HeikenAshi feature (with user candle modification functions) in upcoming Ninja 7 version. Would be nice to move away from current resource intensive Heiken Ashi implementation.
