Can't open chart. NinjaTrader wants to shutdown.

Installing NinjaTrader on a windows xp laptop and it fails repeatedly. Please let me know if there is something I can do to fix this problem.

I was connecting in a simulator mode and then opened up a chart for ES 09-08 and immediately got an error saying NinjaTrader has to shutdown.

Could not send email from help->contact support as email send failed, so posting here.

I could not find a way to modify any .net security settings as suggested in the other installation thread. Not sure if it is related to code loading or if it is related to permissions for writing to a file.

My documents folder go into a "strange" drive which is local but "synched" to a network when i am connected to that network (not now). Would also like a way to change that to another local drive.

Try uninstalling NT, uninstall .NET, reinstall .NET 2, reinstall NT. My Documents needs to be on your local drive. This is generally determined by how your Windows is setup and not by NT.

I had to fix the security level as suggested in another thread and it works fine now.
