Problems in charting GC

I am having problems with GC.



If i change the "price based on" to ask or bid it work correctly, but if i choose last does not work.

In superDOM the last does not refresh.

Thank you for your note.

The front month Comex Gold contract is the December contract, GC 12-16. You've viewing the Oct contract, 10-16, which doesn't trade much however does have bids/offers in the book, which is why if you chart the Bid or Ask in the chart.

I suggest you chart/trade GC 12-16.

The issue is the Dec 16 gold contract has an incorrectly defined roll date. To resolve this, go to Control Center>Tools>Instruments search GC. Scroll to the bottom, click on Contract Months. Select the 12-16, and change the RollOver Date to 7/29/2016 with an offset of 8.9.

Or you can change your merge policy which will prevent this from ever being an issue again. Control Center>Tools>Options, click Market Data (left side) and then change Global Merge Policy to Do not Merge. Then on your chart, right click, Reload historical data.

Note changing merge policy to DoNotMerge will limit historical data for each contract to only that contracts history, doing so at the global level will change all instruments to such.
