    Missing Data When PC Off

    Hi,

I am currently testing NT with a Demo Account.

I watched the market in the morning
switched off the computer at 7:30
then I came back in the evening at 20:00 and tuned PC and NT on again
no data is showing for the times the PC was off on Tick Chart data.

I downloaded Level II data from the replay function, replayed the all day, but once connecting to Continuum the problem persists.

Please see image attached where you can see data missing between 7:20-20:04

Is that normal way NT works? is PC is not ON tick chart data are lost? I can see days from previous week... very strange.

    Hello Sylvestersergio,

    Thank you for your note.

Can you please right click on the chart>Reload All Historical Data.

If you got to Control Center>Options>Market Data, do you have a check next to "Get data from server"?

I look forward to your reply.

      Thanks,

I actually sorted deleting everything in MyDocuments/NinjaTrader7/db/

but probably the Reload from right click was enough? I told F5 was for that but just realised I was wrong as it is only for reload NinjaScript.

      Is good now anyway

Maybe there is a problem with your system, you can try to use a registry cleaner, it will delete unnecessary and corrupted files in order to fix errors in the system. There are a lot of cleaners on the Internet but only several cleaners deserve to be installed. Check this article, there you can find best pc tune up software for your operating system. I advise you to use Ccleaner because it's free and it's simple to use for everyone

The right-click solution you found has a big brother solution with even more power.

          For NT7:
Use the "Download" tab on the CC -> Tools -> Historical Data Manager dialog.

          For NT8:
Use the "Load" tab on the CC -> Tools -> Historical Data dialog.

On that dialog, you have a have a tremendous amount of control to download
historical data, esp down-loading for multiple instruments all at once.
