    drawing objects disappeared

    Hello,

I had 4 workspaces with several charts each. On each chart I had studies, notes, lines, etc.

Today I opened NT7 and found out all drawings are notes are completely gone from all charts! Templates and indicators are still there.

Is there a way to recover this? Why is this all lost? I am running weekly backups but I tried to restore and nothing seemed to happen.

    Any guidance out there?

    Thanks.

          Hello user1986,
          Thanks for your reply.
I haven't had seen your email come in. Do you have a ticket number/did you receive a confirmation number? If not, it was likely not received and you can write into platformsupport[at]ninjatrader[dot]com, including a link to this forum topic, and we can assist further.

Now that I check my mail, I see that it seems to have been unable to send the mail to that adress... I am trying again now, please check.

Is there an alternative way to send the information in case this fails again?

Hello, I remembering solving this issue in my NT7 by increasing the time the drawings were allowed to stay in the chart before NT would automatically erase the objects (to improve performance by decreasing load). I had to do that by modding some files in the NT7 folder.

Now that I have switched to NT8, I am wondering if this would still be necessary, or if there is any way to make objects permanent by removing the feature that automatically cleans up older objects.

                Thanks and best regards.

                  Hello,

                  Thank you for your post.

This feature no longer exists in NinjaTrader 8.

Please let me know if I may be of any further assistance.
