Drawing tool bug with version 7.0.1000.31

I like to write up on my charts frequently with the F12 key. The text box no longer shows up since I've installed the latest update.
If I double click a small box shows up that says "new text".
If I click on it again it disappears.
If instead of clicking on it a second time I begin typing I start typing into the data series box and not the text marker.
I'd love some confirmation on if it's an isolated error on my end or if there is a larger issue with the update.

EDIT:
I've found a secondary issue which makes me think that there is a problem on my end.
As soon as I connect my feed to Interactive brokers my charts go blank and I have no data even though I'm still connected to Kinetick.
I've restarted my PC, Ninja, and IB, and the problem keeps occurring.
The only change I've had is the Ninja upgrade.

Any feedback on solutions is greatly welcomed and appreciated.

You will find the log file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.

The log file will be named "log.20161110.txt"

You will find the trace file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.

The trace file will be named "trace.20161110.txt"
