Problem with expiry

    Problem with expiry

    Hello,
    In the instrument manager, there are 2 parts:
    1/ on rigth, where we can find or add any stocks, future and so on
    2/ on left the instruments by list.
    I try to add a stock from the right to the left, for this:
    1/ I choose my stock
    2/ I click on the arrow for add to the list
    and the error message is: you must to choose an expiry
    And the expiry combo is not available and more there is no expiry for a stock!!!

    Where come from the problem please?

    Can you post a screenshot of the Instrument Manger showing the instrument selected that you are trying to add to the instrument list?

    To send a screenshot with Windows 7 or newer I would recommend using Window's Snipping Tool.

    Alternatively to send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.

      hi,
      the screenshot that you asked me.
      If I click on the arrow to add the stock in the default list or other the message is:
      "You must to choose an expiry" and the combo is unavalaible and stock don't have a expiry.

        Hello neo-13,

        Thank you for posting the screenshot.

        Can you please disconnect all connections at Control Center-->File-->Disconnect. Go to Control Center-->Tools-->Options-->Data-tab and click Reset Instruments. Once finished, please restart NinjaTrader and check if the issue remains.

        If the error is still reported while you have a stock instrument selected, please send me your log and trace files so I can investigate. Go to Control Center-->Help-->Mail to Platform Support in NinjaTrader. Put 'Att Jason, Problem with expiry' in the subject field and enable 'Log and trace files'.
