How do you make a ticker?
Does anyone know how you can make a ticker box to keep the major indexes close by?Tags: None

Hello TradePartner,
Thank you for your post,
You can use the Market Analyzer to accomplish this (File > New). With this window, you will be able to add instruments or indices you wish to view (Right Click > Instruments) and then add additional columns for the metrics you would like to monitor like Last Price, Last Close or Indicator values as well (Right click > Columns).
Please see the below section of our help guide for more on the Market Analyzer.

Unfortunately that did not do the trick. And now it's a tad more complicated. Even though I pay NinjaTrader a quarterly fee for access, the program has decided to turn itself off, saying that my demo account has expired. True, I have not yet funded my account, but I did not think that would cause my access to NinjaTrader itself to be cut off.
Is there anything to be done here?

Hello TradePartner,
Thank you for your reply,
To clarify, your access to the NinjaTrader platform was not cut off, the demo data feed expired. What the license key does is allow users to trade their funded accounts, and funding an account is where most users get the primary data feed.
The demos last around 21-days from the day they are requested, and each user is allowed two per 90-days. You may request an additional demo from the link below (You will receive an email letting you know your demo allowance has been exceed if you have requested too many demos).

If you're unable to request an additional demo, the other options for receiving real-time data would be to fund an account or connect to a data-only service such as Kinetick or BarChart.
The below link will show all the NinjaTrader-supported data feeds and the market they support.
