    output from Ninja

I use the "incoming" folder to write my orders that ninja executes. Post execution, I'd like to get a confirmation. This could be by writing to an "outgoing" folder. I just don't know if there is such a thing as outgoing?

How do I communicate out from ninja?

    thanks

Please check out the folder <my documents>/NinjaTrader6.5/outgoing.

      the following trades executed. (trades.png)
in the outgoing folder is a file called
      ES 03-09 Globex_Sim101_position.txt containing LONG;1;926
This of course makes it easy to parse and get your positions.
However the other trades ES & Fdax output filename seems to be a random sequence.(outgoing.png)
How can I determine whats in an account by looking at files.
Ultimately what I want is a text file of the positions in the control center.
      See positions.png

Unfortunately the file name of these files would not hold the account name. We'll add this request to our list of future considerations. Thanks for bringing this up.

All the output information I want can be done via the dll in tradestation.
Im assuming this can also be done via other methods.
          ie visual basic etc.
what are the options, and where do I begin?
You are speaking to an expert in ts, but ignorant in most other languages except some scripting languages.
I need info like below output to a text file.
          Account Position size: 1
          AvgEntryPrice: 927.50
          OrderStatus: Filled
          Ntorders: stratid|644bd7d1f3cf4c019ef5e6796c8904ac|573e1af18 cc6469a9a606a5bfee16775|stratid|4e537958dde8475e8b 917668f094d7f6|stratid|0de77691f3854627b0d484e3444 7e1a0|6327125d6f174776830bded8b1a366d2|stratid|51f bfdfd45374f018e9a4fc3c3f928d9|39030940c51448
          Ntstoporders:
          Nttargetorders:
          Ntstratagies: stratid
          NtstratagiesPosition: 1.00
          Filled #: 1
          AvgFillPrice: 927.50
          CashValue: 121860.25

            NTMarketPosition IS reporting incorrectly.
I am long 2 from placing an order in the control center,
and short one by a atm traded executed by dll.
            (all sim101)
            NTMarketPosition(Account) returns 2
            NtstrategyPosition(stratname1 returns -1

bottom line is NTMarketPosition(Account) should return -1

Hi kiwibird, did you also try this with the provided NTSample strategy in TradeStation? It reports correctly on my end over here in testing.

Also the ATI has been designed to execute and transmit trade signals, it is not meant to compared to a fully featured API.
