Daily Chart not Updating

My daily charts are not updating in real-time. The date range shown in the title bar is always one day behind even though in 'Format Data Series' window the 'Last Date' shows as the current day.
I never used to have this problem, but I'm not sure when it started.

I connect to ZenFire first then DTNiQ.

Could you please tell me what instrument is selected in the chart.

What version of NinjaTrader do you have installed? You can check this under Help-->About.

Does reversing the connection sequence make a difference?

Try right clicking in the chart and select "Reload Historical Data".

Reversing connection or just using DTNiQ has cured it but now, even when I reconnect Zenfire, I'm not getting realtime futures prices.
Reloading historical makes no difference.

I've had to disconnect DTNiQ to get realtime Zenfire prices back.

Could you please send me a note to "support [at] ninjatrader [dot] com" including your login credentials for Zen-Fire and IQFeed, so I can test this on my end.

When I tested the IQFeed - Zen-Fire connection sequence, I did receive real-time data for futures contracts.

Before I send the email, would it make any difference that the ZenFire is, at the moment, on a Mirus demo account?

As far as I know, this should not make a difference. When I tested IQFeed - Zen-Fire, I also used a Zen-Fire demo connection.

Hi,

It could be you're not subscribed to IQ Level II feed. Without this subscription you can't see data in the DOM. Have you checked in the control center on the Orders tab, are you able to pull up a Futures contract?

I only subscribe to delayed futures from IQ as, obviously, I get live prices via ZenFire. I can get YM, for example (delayed), on the orders tab (but not the DOM) if I disconnect from Zen.

So, yes, I can get delayed futures from IQ, no problem - just not on a daily chart.

I don't see why the daily chart is only loading data as far as the previous day.


UPDATE: Can get stocks (realtime) and futures (delayed) from IQ with Zen not connected but not currencies, on a daily chart.

If data would show today for the Daily chart, it would be real time data and not delayed. That's the reason why you don't see today.

I receive forex data from IQ, realtime, but that doesn't update on a daily chart either!

Forex is also showing as one day behind, i.e, 24th Jul when it should be 25th Jul as shown in Format Data Series.

Do you have the same issue if you connect to DTNIQ alone? Zen-Fire second?

If I connect to DTN alone or 1st I get data for the current day for futures and stocks but not forex.
The trouble is, apart from not getting current forex data, when I then connect to Zen it doesn't 'take over' and give me realtime futures.

UPDATE: It now looks as though it is only forex that is not giving me data for the current day on a daily chart. I get current day/realtime forex on minute charts no problem.

Maybe try repairing your database to re-order the data and then try the connections once more?
