    mbt connection

    I just downloaded latest mbt navigator and removed and dowloaded latest NT because of many problems running NJ the last couple weeks. I have a license with NT and live MBT account.

    I get this the last couple weeks and even today after new Nav and new NJ download:

    Application has generated an exception that could not be handled.

    Process ID=0xb58 (2904), Thread ID=0x1a4 (420).

    Click ok to terminate application.

    Click cancel to debug application.

    I can't connect at all now.

    For ten days I would connect to simulated data feed, then disconnect from it and then connect to MBT live trading.

    But now even that won't work.

      Hello,


      Unfortunately MB Trading updated their Navigator prior to notifying us. You will not be able to trade using MBT until early next week.

      We apologize for the inconvenience, however it is out of our control.

      A NinjaTrader update will come to you automatically early next week.

        I've been having probs for a couple weeks but hope the next weeks fix works for me.

          Hi,

          In addition the message you receive in your first post usually comes up when you don't have the correct system requirements.

            The computers a 6 month old Dell Vostro 400 w/XP and 2gig memory and lots of good stuff. Just the last couple weeks have had problems.

            I can't even use my last NJ demo license and my last MBT demo account license.

            Shouldn't I be able to use my last NJ demo license with my last MBT demo account license to get connected and chart?

                To clarify: 6.5.1000.5 will only support new MBT Nav 11.1.0.2. It will NOT support pulling historical data from MBT. We have this on our list though (no ETA yet).

                    We will have a release supporting latest MBT Navigator pretty soon.
                    Please contact MBT support on if and when historical data will be officially supported by MBT.

                      FYI ...

                      I have the latest MB Navigator (11.1.0.2) w/ the latest NT (6.5.1000.4) and I am able to connect and collect data. I'm not going to try to trade until NT releases an update for the new MB Navigator, but I can still collect data; ensuring that I don't have any "holes" in my data for back testing / indicator calculation.

                          I had a problem connecting to MB Trading. But, it turns out the problem was that my account was locked by MB Trading due to a security issue that I got cleared.
