Horizontal line saved to chart template on indicator

    Hi there,

Is there a way to add a horizontal line to the Stochastics indicator, say at 20 and 80, in additional to the two lines you are able to add via the indicator (which I currently have at 10 and 90)?

    (see attached)

I want this to be saved to my chart template such that on any chart I have 4 horizontal lines on my indicator, not two.

    Thanks,
    Michelle

    Hello michellepace,

    Thanks for your post.

I've created a short video to cover the 3 options you have for additional lines: https://www.screencast.com/t/jJeN7o7uax

Hi Paul, thanks for taking the time to make a video for me, much appreciated.

Unfortunately however your method does not work. Follow the steps below and you'll see what I mean:

      1. Open the YM 03-17 (for example), add an RSI indicator
      2. Plot a horizontal line at "50" on the RSI (I just use the short cut key "F6")
      3. Save the template
      4. Now load a different template on the chart
      5. Finally re-load the template saved in step 1
      6. You'll see that the horizontal line placed at 50 is not there

... what I need is for the horizontal line to remain there at 50, always.

        Hello michellepace,

        Thanks for your reply.

Yes, you are correct, drawing objects are not saved with the template.

Hopefully one of the other 2 solutions offered will meet your needs.

Sorry Paul, , my mistake! Yes indeed - the last solution you provided of simply editing the ninjascript works like a charm.

          Thank-you!
