"Loading data..." message running too long

I've opened a chart and trying to load some data. I've asked for the last 90 days of 1440-min bars. The "Loading data..." message has been running for around 10 minutes.

In case it never finishes, is there a "safe" way to stop NT from trying to load the data without breaking anything?

I'd like to see your log and trace files. Please send me a note to platformsupport (at) ninjatrader (dot) com. Attach your most current log and trace files to the email, and put a link to this forum post in the body of the email. Please note "ATTN: Drew" in the body of the response.

You will find the log file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.

The log file will be named "log.20170124.txt"

You will find the trace file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.

The trace file will be named "trace.20170124.txt"

I just checked and both my log.20170124.txt and trace.20170124.txt files are currently empty. The files exist but nothing in them.

Wait. I just checked again. The files are no long empty. I will send them to you.
