    NT 6.5.1000.5 w/ MBT 11.1.0.2

    Hey guys,

    I recently updated to the latest version of NT and MBT. Ever since I have had a few strange problems. At one point I didn't have any pairs in my instrument list. When I tried to submit an automated order I got the following ...

    Order 'xyz........" can't be submitted: Instrument type 'Currency' is not supported by this provider"

    This was two days ago. So that night I did a "Reset Instruments" and "Repair DB" and the following day orders were accepted again. This morning I woke up to the same error.

    I don't understand where it is coming from. Maybe after the rollover with MBT at 12:00AM something is reset? I'm not sure what the problem is.

    Any insight would be appreciated.

    edit :: NOW when I go to the instrument manager now and drop down the menu I only have index available to me.

    Then MBT has not enabled the instrument types in question for your account. Please contact MBT support for clarification.

      Thanks for the reply Dierk.

      I thought it had something to do with MBT since it occurs after their 12:00AM rollover. Thing is its not just my account; other I know are having the same problem as well so I'm thinking its something with their new Navigator.

        Note: Staying connected while MBT resets their servers is not supported. Please disconnect before server reset and reconnect after.

          Dierk,

          I can reproduce this problem.

          If you initially start NT and connect to MBT, open the Instrument list. You will see "Currency" under type.

          Close the Instrument list. Disconnect your computer from the internet, let MBT lose the connection, then reconnect your computer to the internet. After NT regains the connection to MBT check the instrument list again. Currency is not there....

          please let me know

              Glad you can reproduce it.

              When do you plan to release a fix? I would like to test my strategies asap.
