hey Josh, i understand the Account Connection menu, i'm trying to learn
what the software components are that allows nt to get on the net and
connect with the zf feed/server - how's it do that ? presume it's built-in
what 'bits' - components/utilities/whatever in the xp program are used ?
nt doesn't use a browser but some nt type programs i use require it ?

Sorry. You connect to the internet and after that its just a direct connection between you and Zen-Fire. It is the same as how you would connect to anything. You open a webpage is you and the webserver. Connecting to Zen-Fire is you and the Zen-Fire server.Josh P.NinjaTrader Customer Service

You connect to the internet via your ISP. Your computer is on the internet. When you are on the internet you have what is known as an IP address. Every computer or system on the internet has an IP address. Zen-Fire has an IP address that you initiate connections with from NinjaTrader. They accept your connection and then you are good to go in using their services.
Sorry I cannot provide you with more details since this is not related to NinjaTrader. There is a whole field of study related to this subject area and many people make a living working as Network Administrators. We cannot possibly discuss all the intricacies of network communications here.Josh P.NinjaTrader Customer Service
