    If I can't use XP with NT7, I will have to buy a New PC.

      Hello merzo,

      Thank you for your patience. We have located a temporary fix that is working to connect successfully to our licensing servers using Windows XP. Please download the following file:
      https://certs.godaddy.com/repository/gdroot-g2.crl


      1. Open the file location and right click on the file
      2. Select 'Install CRL'
      3. Follow the install wizard with all default settings until the install process has completed

      While Windows XP is no longer supported by Microsoft or NinjaTrader, this should get you connected for the time being. I would still recommend upgrading to a supported operating system listed in our installation guide: http://ninjatrader.com/InstallationGuide

              The fix has worked wonderfully for a month but I got cant verify license again today. Is anyone else is getting the same problem ?

                Thank you for the reply.

                Unfortunately, the latest security certification fix is the only fix we have located at this point. However, because Microsoft has not supported Windows XP since 2015 and NinjaTrader no longer officially supports the OS either, we would have to recommend you upgrade your Windows OS.

                  I realize this is an old thread, but I hope someone can help me.

                  My situation is a bit different than what's been described here. I'm running NT 7 on an old Windows 7 SP1 box. Been running it successfully for years. In fact, it still runs - just slowly. So I've finally decided to upgrade to a much faster box and am having a helluva time successfully connecting to your license servers.

                  I realize that Microsoft has dropped support for Windows 7, but I really don't want to upgrade to Windows 10 unless I absolutely have to. I can still connect to your servers on my old box - it's just the new one that's giving me fits.

                  I've spent the last 2 days working on this and have run out of ideas. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

                    Thanks for your post.

                    Unfortunately, since Microsoft no longer supports Windows 7, our ability to support it is hindered as well. Likely on the old machine, Microsoft provided updates and hotfixes that kept your programs from running successfully despite the operating system no longer being supported, while the new machine is not able to request these updates and hotfixes any more. In any case we would never recommend using an unsupported operating system and would encourage you to update to a supported version, at least Windows 8, but ideally Windows 10 to avoid having to deal with this issue again in the future.

                      Yeah, no worries. I understand - people have to upgrade eventually, and you can't support them forever. I'll figure it out.
