Historical Text Data

I am trying to import historical text data that I got off of another trading software program. I was able to export the data in 1 minute increments to excel and then with some tweaking, save that as a unicode text file with the name EURUSD. Some example lines of data are below.

20080801 215100;1.5555;1.5555;1.5553;1.5554
20080801 215200;1.5555;1.5555;1.5554;1.5554
20080801 215300;1.5554;1.5555;1.5554;1.5555
20080801 215400;1.5554;1.5555;1.5554;1.5555
20080801 215500;1.5554;1.5555;1.5554;1.5555
20080801 215600;1.5554;1.5555;1.5554;1.5554
20080801 215700;1.5556;1.5558;1.5556;1.5558
20080801 215800;1.5558;1.5561;1.5558;1.5559
20080801 215900;1.5560;1.5565;1.5560;1.5562

When I try to import the file I get an error message stating "$EURUSD: Unexpected number of fields in line '1', should be 6 or 3". I tried saving the file as EURUSD and $EURUSD just in case that made a difference. Any thoughts?

The lines do not conform to the required number of fields.

You need to add a volume field. I would just add another field with a value of 1 for each row.

Thanks, that and making sure the data was saved in the main NT file and not the backup file made it work.
