I'm trying to get my market analyzer to run like Datek's Streamer or Interactive Brokers Quote page... you know with highlighted bid/ask changes, %change, etc. Complete with flashing colors.

So far I can't even get one symbol to do what I want it to do. Example:

    I open MA and choose an instrument>columns>NetChange>new>alert conditions>new>color for background-blue>trigger condition>is greater than>value: .50%

Then I get a properties window popup saying: "Property value is not valid."
    >Details: ".50% is not a valid value for Double."

All I wanted is for the NetChange cell to turn blue if it is .50% or higher.

I'm sorry for being such an idiot, but I have no idea of what I'm doing.

You will need to use an absolute value. The Market Analyzer alerts will not accept a percentage as value for the condition.

OK, now how do I do that?

Please remove the percentage symbol and the value should be accepted.

That did it. Thank you Jason.

I'm trying to get the thing dialed in, but am having problems.
I can't seem to change the values of an individual instrument without it affecting the whole column. Quick example:

FDAX. I'd like the Net Change to be showed as a %
NQ. I'd like the Net Change to be showed as points

It's either one or the other when trying to set values in a column. Which doesn't make sense to me. Since different instruments have different criteria.

            Same problem with color values.

I hope I'm just missing something.
            Thx.

Thank you for the suggestion, and I will forward it for our list of future considerations.

You can open one MA for every instrument you want in points and a second for every instrument your want in percent.

Thanks for the quick reply Jessica.

                That bums me out.
In essence all I would like is for each instrument to "stand alone" so individual parameters (values/colors) can be customised for each... instead of being slaved to column it's in.

I think I just repeated myself from my first post...
