email linkage efficiency

Hello Traders and Ninja,

I'm wondering how efficient the email linkage is between Tradestation strategies> Ninja> IB broker. Comments are welcome.

Here's a couple things to explain. Several of my strategies are lightning fast scalping future Index systems that rely on limit orders and convert to market after few seconds. So speed is essential.
Also does Ninja understand and pass along to IB's platform all the order types that my systems generate and can it keep up if bombarded with several orders at the the same time?

I was wondering if email linkage was slow.... frankly I don't know.
Any potential issues that I may experience would certainly be good to hear before I make the plunge. Thanks

We could run up to 20 auto systems at the same time.

>Also I was wondering, if I wanted to utilize some automated forex systems in Tradestation and dump the trades into IB's platform, how would I go about that since IB's platform is set up to trade dollar amounts in forex and TS systems are specified in lot amounts?

Slow is subjective but in general, the email interface from the time the signal in TS is generated to the time the order is placed can be a second or so.

Hey Ninja Traders,

Does Ninja recognize limit orders from Tradestation strategies? Also since the email is used as a link to TS, does several orders being generated at once, present a problem for Ninja?..passing them through to the broker's platfrom. Thanks

Yes, limit orders can be submitted via TS to NT. Multiple signals at once is not a problem.
