Don't understand account performance ?

    Don't understand account performance ?

    Account Performance says 20 trades when clearly I've made more than that .
    You can count the trades under Executions or divide the commissions by the
    commission price and verify the number of trades .How does Ninja count trades ? The total number of trades should be the number of round trip trades
    Long and Short correct ? Doesn't add up ???

    Yes, a round trip should equal one.

    First check the accounts, dates, and strategies included in your report.

    Also, you can repair your database to order and compress trades (Tools->Options--> Misc--> Repair DB).

    Lastly, it may be time to reset your Sim101 account (Tools-->Options--> Simulator--> Reset).

      I don't know ... I did the data repair .... no change . I did a fresh reinstall over
      the weekend because I couldn't import custom indicators . That went fine and now I can import custom indicators . The restore went fine ...?? Everything
      works fine except the number of trades . It's starts out new everyday and
      every new day the trades are off . I don't think reseting the whole prior
      month would fix it being off every new day ... Any other suggestions ?

        Send a screen shot of these numbers after you have placed a couple of trades tomorrow and I will review. You can send these to support AT ninjatrader DOT com along with your log file.

          Not exactly clear on taking a screen shot . I see a E-mail image option ,but if
          I wanted to post a screen shot to the forum what would I use ? Snag-it or
          MWsnap ?

            Hi,

            You can find the screen shot option under "snipping tool" by using the directions provided.

            Go to Start menu --> All programs --> Accessories --> snipping tool.

              Running XP Pro ,but don't see - snipping tool - under accessories ...?

                Hello,

                To send a screenshot, click CTRL + PRINT SCREEN. Then, open up Paint from Start > Accessories > Paint. Paste into the Paint program by clicking CTRL + V. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send as an attachment.

                Screen shot Windows XP

                - Highlight the window you want to take a screenshot of

                - Then press ALT+Prnt Scrn

                - Now open up an email

                - Right click in the email and select Paste


                The screenshot should now be pasted in the email and ready to send over.
