Yahoo does not load charts

The Yahoo connection does not work. Daily data does not load. Is there a solution to this problem?

I can confirm I an seeing the same error when attempting to load stocks from Yahoo on my end. I will forward to our development team to look into further. As a workaround, try loading data instead from the Kinetick End of Day Free connection found at File > Connect.

Try the GOOGLE connector. I am having the same problem with the YAHOO connector.

Google is like Kinetik has only US equity. Yahoo is important for EUROPA data.

Yahoo data not coming in for NinjaTrader 8

I have this issue as well, need Yahoo Data for ASX (Australia) stocks.

Re-installed ninjatrader 2 times thinking something had broken. Not happy Yahoo!

Just realised this is for NinjaTrader 7, and my issue is with NInjaTrader 8 (although given the source issue is with Yahoo, I'm sure the problem is the same).

I'm on NT7 having the same issue with Yahoo Finance. Since stocks are for European market, other datafeeds don't help anything. The underlying issue seems to be that Yahoo has changed their protocol/format for downloading data and require some kind of authentication.

Once Yahoo resolves this, Yahoo should again provide data into NinjaTrader. A disconnect and reconnect after the issue is resolved will most likely be required.

For the time being, you can connect to Kinetick — End of Day (Free) to populate your daily charts, however, not all instruments may be available.

Not so sure Yahoo will fix this, unless official statements about this specific issue are provided. They seem to have changed the required URL for historical data.

The "Download data" link now has a different URL and require cookies. So this URL below won't work without a browser, or from a different browser than one browsing Yahoo Finance webpages: https://query1.finance.yahoo.com/v7/...mb=9Vuw48ZbSD5

Ie. when pasting the link in another browser, the response become:

It is simple to reproduce this behaviour yourself using two browsers and browsing Yahoo Finance webpages for a ticker symbol and its historical data link.

I do hope this is fixed soon, unless I need to abandon my current setup with NT.

Yahoo's support pages are a joke.

This is really unfortunate, and basically renders NinjaTrader without purpose for me

I Hope this will get fixed soon...or that other free data providers in NinjaTrader start covering the ASX market.
