    crosshair cursor

Couple of minor points about crosshairs:

    1. Sometimes the crosshairs leave artifacts. If I use the crosshairs and move it around the screen, sometimes a vertical and/or horozontal line gets left behind. I find that if I move the crosshairs back over the exact same spot, I can "pick up" the artifacts and clean it up. Or, do something else to redraw.

    2. what is the difference between the cross hairs and the global cross hairs? Global sounds like, well, global, like maybe on all charts. But, I don't see any difference.

    Thank you for your post.

    1) I am not able to reproduce this but it sounds like a video card issue.

    2) Make sure you change the cursers in every chart to Global and then move the curser in the largest time frame. This should make the scrolling clear.

      1. I was afraid you might say it is a video driver issue. But, it happens on both my desktop and laptop. Though not consistently, just some times. And they both have up to date drivers and very different video systems. The laptop has Intel chipset video, the desktop has nVidia 9600.

      2. I didn't understand what you meant, but, I tried it, and its cool. You might explain this in the help, I don't think the help explains this well.

as Dierk (?) pointed out to me, color settings are too low:
rt clk desktop/properties/settings increase True Color amount

Thanks, but, I'm already at 32 bit color.

Artifacts are video card issues. You may want to try reinstalling/updating your video card drivers.

Yes, they often are. But, I don't think so in this case. I've even re-installed the OS on both machines, for other reasons, with current drivers -- from Intel for the laptop and nVidia for the desktop. Still happens.

Unfortunately I cannot help advise you. We are unable to reproduce on our end. You could try various settings with your monitor refresh rates or even try turning off hardware acceleration on your graphics card settings.

Okay, well, its not a big deal. And I will go ahead and check for even newer drivers, though, I did that not long ago. Thanks anyway.

nVidia used to come with a tool (in control panel?) where you turn on/off hardware accelerator (which usually is the cause of problem like these). Playing with this nVidia configuration could make a difference.
