Best Daily Data Source for US Stocks

What are my options for getting free daily data for US stocks? I've got a little data for select stocks from Yahoo Finance, but I've been getting it for each stock one at a time, which is obviously very time consuming. Is there some way I can get historic data for say the whole of the NASDAQ stocks loaded in one go?

Also interested in some Forex data and DOW stocks, so recommendations for each would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

You could try loading multiple instruments into a Market Analyzer to load more than one at a time.

Also you could import data if you find someone offering in txt format.

    Instructions:

You can connect to Gain Capital for free Forex data.

Outside of these data options you would want to look at subscribing to a datafeed.

      Hello Jessica

      Thanks for your recommendations.

As a second question, as I have ninjatrader loaded onto two computers, is it possible to download historical data onto one computer and then copy the data over to a second computer? e.g. Is there a file in the ninjatrader directory on my computer I can simply copy over or sync with from my other computer?

You can use the Backup/Restore tool available under the File menu to transfer data.

That's what I'm looking for. Thanks Josh.
