Tracking Order Results?

How can I keep track of order results? Say I'm executing this code throughout the trading day when a certain condition forms:

SetStopLoss(CalculationMode.Ticks, 6);
SetProfitTarget(CalculationMode.Ticks, 8);
entryOrder = EnterLongLimit(Close[0]);

This then gets executed a couple of times during the trading day. How can I track the results, to track the cumulative ticks gained or lost?

Thanks for opening the thread.

There a few ways you can do this.

You can look at the Strategy Performance results by right clicking on the strategy in the Strategies tab of the Control Center and selecting Realtime, Historical or both depending on the type of trades you would like to see results for.

You can also TradesPerformanceValues to get information on the strategy's performance while the code is running. This value would have to be converted to ticks by finding the difference and dividing by TickSize.

You could also override OnExecution() to program your own specific tracking using the Execution object passed or your own tracking variables and logic. We have a sample that describes using OnExecution() and OnOrderUpdate() in addition to our documentation.
