strategy vs chart trader

hello,

running a strategy on a chart means i can't activate the chart trader?
isn't it possible by default or is there a miisstake on my side?
what can i do ?

Thank you for your post.

That is correct, when a NinjaScript Strategy is applied to a chart, Chart Trader cannot be enabled. Similarly, when Chart Trader is enabled you cannot apply a NinjaScript Strategy to that chart.

This is by design and is intended to prevent the user from modifying orders that are created by a NinjaScript Strategy as this will cause the strategy to behave incorrectly.
