Getting fib retrace from swings for strategy

I want to measure for an uptrend a fib retrace from the prior swing low to the prior swing high. I need a condition where that swing retrace is within a certain fib range.

I found this in the help section but I dont need to draw it, just need conditions to read the value of a fib range such
..IF close between 40-60% of prior swing low to prior swing high...

DrawFibonacciRetracements("tag1", true, 10, Low[10], 0, High[0]);

the lines in any of the fib helptools cant be accessed or readout, they are just visual. you would have to come up with your own conditions.

if you already know where and when to achor your fibtool then it should be easy.

and would be something like

if (Math.Abs(x-y)>=Math.Abs(y-z)*0.4 && Math.Abs(x-y)<=Math.Abs(y-z)*0.6)

Thank you for writing in. How you do this in code is going to depend on what indicator you are using to find your swing high and swing low values but once you have them it's pretty straight forward:

double swingRange = Math.Abs(swingHigh - swingLow);
double highFib = swingLow + swingRange * 0.6;
double lowFib = swingLow + swingRange * 0.4;
if(Close <= highFib && Close >= lowFib)
{
//Do something
}
