Help, the problem with the calculation of ticks
Hello, please tell me how to make a strategy to determine what number of ticks between
(for example) Open and Close using the TickSize or perhaps differently??Tags: None

Thanks for your post.
Here is an example of code to first take the absolute value of Close[0] - Open[0] which will provide the price difference divided by the TickSize which will convert to the number of ticks:
int numberofticks = Convert.ToInt32(Math.Abs((Close[0] - Open[0]) / TickSize)) ;
