How to remove custom drawing tool from NinjaTrader and Drawing Tool menu

Hi guys,

I have downloaded a drawing tool add-on, but no longer need it. I installed via Tools --> NinjaScript Add-on..

But when I go to Tools --> Remove NinjaScript Assembly, it doesnt show up to remove.

And it is still in my Drawing Tools menu (see screenshot).

How can I remove this Add-on completely (from my NinjaScript user folder and from the Drawing Tools Menu)?

Thank you for your post.

You can remove the Add-on in NinjaTrader 8 by using the steps below.

• From the Control Center select the New menu--> select NinjaScript Editor
• Select Add-ons to expand the list of Add-ons.
• Select the Add-on you want to delete.
• Press the delete key on your keyboard.

I've done as suggested, but the menu items are still there (see attachment).

Thank you for your patience.

This means the Add On is under another class/object type such as an indicator or it is in a third party assembly.

Please open the NinjaScript Editor and Expand the 'Indicators', please look for any possible custom Add On here. If you cannot find it please go to the NinjaTrader Control Center --> Tools --> Remove NinjaScript Assembly and look for the Add On here.

If you cannot determine the Add On file please let me know if you know the name of the file when you imported it or if you have a link to where you downloaded the file.

Hello, so I have almost the same issue as rng144. I can't seem to find it in Ninjasript Editor but it is in the Remove Ninjascript Assembly. I bought one indicator from a vendor and the installer from the vendor installed all their indicators. I just want that one indicator to show up but all the other ones show up too. It's pointless to have all the other indicators show up since I would have to pay to use them. Is there anyway it can be removed from the Drawing Tools drop down tab??

This indicates that the add-on you're attempting to remove is a a protected assembly and not open source. You would need to discuss this with the developer of the add-on.
