under the "Export as Assembly" section it says the following:

• If your proprietary indicator or strategy references external DLL's then its advised to create your own custom installer

I'm wondering specifically what a custom installer would need to do to ensure the addon files are correctly integrated into NinjaTrader.

Is there more information on this process to ensure the files are placed correctly and the additional DLLs are integrated correctly in the NinjaTrader system?

Is this as easy as dropping the files in the right folders? Or does the project file need to be edited to add the references? Or more?
