    Performance Metrics Source Code?

    Hello

Is the source code available for the all the Performance Metric columns...Profit Factor, Max. Drawdown, etc.

I would like to develop some metrics of my own, but am finding the documentation and single sample in the NinjaTrader.Custom project to be a bit lacking.

Even pointing me to the appropriate DLL in C:\Program Files (x86)\NinjaTrader 8\bin64 so I could decompile it would help.

    Thank You

    Hello calebsandfort,

The analyzers default metrics cannot be accessed but you can see a sample metric using the NinjaScript editor if you want to build one. The code that you can access can be accessed using the NinaScript editor, there is nothing additional in the program files directory and the code for the metrics is not public.

All opensource NinjaScript code exists in the folder: Documents\NinjaTrader 8\bin\Custom

Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.

Ok, thanks for the info. Two additional questions.
      1. Is there any way using the Display attribute to control where the Metric shows up in the Strategy Analyzer Summary view? Or to group my custom metrics all together.
      2. Is it possible to make the Metric show in the Strategy Analyzer Log grid?

        Hello calebsandfort,

I am not aware of any attributes for the metrics, the property attributes are used to control placement in a property grid which the analyzer is not. The analyzer simply loads the enabled metrics but there is no control over ordering aside from naming them. I also don't see any way to have the custom metrics listed in the log, that table only has the default columns as options in its properties.

I look forward to being of further assistance.
