Own data provider for historical data

Hello I have historical data stored on my server with my defined structures. I would like to connect NT8 on these data and display it in graphs. I know how to download data via http and parse them. I need to tell NT8 to use my data. Is there any api that can I use od implement interfaces or classes in ninjascript to achieve this?

Historical data can be imported from a text file with a specific content format and specific filename format.

I see, but it is not the way I want to go because I have lot of data and I would like to import data automatically. I would like to integrate my code into NT and my code will download data from server and pass it into the NJ. When I insert ticker "ABCD" into graph my code will download data and pass it into the NJ... Is it possible to do that?
