Sending an indicator value from one NT8 to another (2PCs)

    Hello,
The question has 2 parts, but both relate to one thing. Possibility to get indicator values from one PC to another.

1.) Is it possible to create a list of valeues from one indicator - time + value (or time + hist. data + value of the indicator) and export it as a file from Ninjatrader 8, e.g., memory stick? And also, could it be read as another NT8 for backtesting?

2.) Is it possible to send indicator values from one NT8 to another via the Internet?
Suppose both questions have a positive answer. But which one is more accessible and programmable? And also less time-consuming to implement.

    Thank you.

I would search here for CopyTrade and on Google for ( Ninjatrader "Copy Trade" "CopyTrade" )

      Hello Deux008,

I would only be aware of writing the values to a text file using StreamWriter and reading the text files with StreamReader.

This may be possible through the internet but would be outside of what is supported by NinjaTrader Support. This thread will remain open for any community members that would like to share an unsupported appraoch.

          Hello oslotradinggroup,

Thanks for your input. Typically we scrub links to 3rd party vendors from posts to promote a healthy atmosphere with no advertising or spam. It is helpful to discuss a vendor product, but if you have links to non-educational material such as product sites please consider sending these as a private message to the recipient.

As this appears to be a helpful suggestion we will allow your link to remain.
