Plot Marker On Chart Over or Under Bar

I am trying to plot a "9" over a bar - if the bar closes below the 9 ema.

It sounds simple but I cant figure it out.

    Hello bob999,

    Thanks for your question.

The Strategy Builder offers a Graphical User Interface to be able to build simple conditions and actions, like checking comparing prices to indicator values. You can also draw from within the Strategy Builder. The code generated with View Code could then be used in an indicator.

Our Help Guide has some Conditions and Actions examples that demonstrate how you can compare indicator values to prices, and also how to draw on a chart.

Please try setting up through the Strategy Builder as a separate test, and if you are still having trouble, please attach screenshots showing how the conditions and actions are set up.

Once you have that part down, implementing in an indicator or unlocked strategy will be straight forward.

    Attaching a Screenshot

To send a screenshot, I would recommend using Window's Snipping Tool.

Alternatively to send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screenshot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.
