Drawing on a chart from outside of the chart (ex. from a superdom column)

Hi! Is it possible to draw on a chart (using Draw.* methods or another way) from outside of the chart - for instance, from a superdom column or an addon?
    Thanks for your help!

Hi gemify, thanks for posting. You can not use the Draw methods in a SuperDOM but Plot objects will be shown. You can also make a SuperDOMColumn script that adds a column to the right side and you can render anything you would like in that area.

    Kind regards,

Thanks NinjaTrader_ChrisL! What I meant to ask was 'Is there any way to draw an object (line, diamond, rectangle etc) on a regular chart from custom code in a superDOM column'?

Hi gemify, thanks for the follow up. It is not supported/documented to target a window outside of the script that the window is running in, unfortunately.

Ah, that's unfortunate. I tried using global objects, but that didn't seem to help, unless I did something silly. Thanks for the quick response Chris!
