AddOn - To synchronize system clock with an internet time server

NT Team,

Is there any developed AddOn (or similar) which will synchronize the system clock with an internet time server at a regular interval?

As I understand, it is possible to achieve this from the Command Prompt (Option 2 ; half way down webpage). Is there any code that could make use of this command?

Thank you for the post.

I am unaware of anything that already exists like this, although this may be possible.

The document you provided notes that the command prompt would need to be elevated, so you would likely need to wait for the user account control popup and click Yes each time you used it.

Because this is not specific to NinjaTrader, you would likely be best looking on Google for guides related to using command with C# and elevating processes if you want to pursue this further.

Alternatively if the PC is having clock issues with keeping sync, that may be another avenue to explore as to why the PC itself can not stay in closer sync. Another option is a VPS server as well.

I use 3rd party NTP app available at link below. NTP is a pool of servers and the App essentially averages the time and access time(internet delay time) and automatically keeps your pc syncrhronized to give you the most accurate results.

and I use Time.Is to check my pc clock available here: https://time.is/

my is usually within +/- 30 ms.
