NT API to record level 1 and level 2

Hello,

This trading hobby has turned into a strategy development obsession thanks to NT and the support. I digress.

I would really appreciate it if you could help me figure out how I can have NT do the following.

-have NT accept an instrument from external app
- Have NT record level 1. & 2 tick data for the instrument
- have NT run strategy on these instruments

I'd really appreciate any help to get me started

Thank you for the post.

While this topic is not supported, I can provide some resources which have been uploaded to the forum in the past. The process is generally the same for NT7 and NT8, you would need to ensure the ATI is enabled and then use similar logic to the following sample: http://ninjatrader.com/support/forum...92&postcount=9

I could only suggest to first try the NT7 sample with NT7 and then move on to developing for NT8 using a similar approach, as this is not supported I could not really assist if you run into errors while using the ATI, I could suggest posting any errors or problems you have on the forums here for further assistance from the community.
