no definition for 'refresh' in nt8 code

Hi, wondering if anyone could help...

Im trying to code an indicator from nt7. It changed the chart update interval from the standard to every price change. therefore would eradicate the 250ms update interval now seen in nt8.

Im getting an error that says 'NinjaTrader.Gui.Chart.ChartControl' does not contain a definition for 'refresh' and no extension method 'refresh' accepting a first argument of type 'NinjaTrader.Gui.Chart.ChartControl' could be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)

Any help to fix this would be appreciated.

    Hello pezza3452,

    Thank you for your patience.

I have sent you a response to your email with the details on the script. For reference you would use ForceReresh here: https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...rcerefresh.htm

Please let me know if you have any questions.

          pezza3452,

As a heads up, calling ForceRefresh() would not cause the chart to trigger faster than 250ms.

          From the help guide:
"Note: As the chart is optimized on a timer, calling ForceRefresh() will NOT immediately trigger a render event. Calling ForceRefesh() simply re-queues the render event to trigger during the next timed event. In other words, it may take up to 250ms for the render event to function."
