    Heiken Ashi

    Hey guys

    I'm currently using a Heiken Ashi lower indicator but it's missing the ability to add a zero line as a value plot. Any ideas on adding the zero line as a value plot in the indicator? Thanks!

    Hello trader14,

    Line plots can be added with AddLine().

    Below is a link to the help guide.

      This will enable me to use the zeroline as a value plot when building a strategy?

        Hello trader14,

        If the value is always 0, you can compare with 0 in the strategy conditions.

        If you want the value (in case the user changes the value of the line) and the strategy is an unlocked strategy, the indicator.Lines[0].Value will be the value of that line.

        If the strategy is in the strategy builder, only Plots are available in the strategy builder. So the line would need to be added with AddPlot(new Stroke(Brushes.Blue), PlotStyle.HLine, 1) and on each bar you would need to set the Value of the plot. (You could set this to a user input value)

          I'm trying to use this as a cross over in my strategy, when xyz crosses above or below the zeroline... etc.

            Hello trader14,

            if (CrossAbove(Close, 0, 1))
            {
            // execute code
            }

            No zero plot is needed for a series crossing 0.
