I have attached a script which adds 3 different data series and sets 3 different plots to the SMA taken from each data series.

Hi AlanP thanks for providing this code, i'm new to ninjatrader - having migrated over from thinkorswim - much of my strategy is based on MTF analysis - with most of these studies having a relationship to an MTF moving average - while I can load your code, I wanted to teach myself to replicate it by creating a study that would just plot one MTF SMA line - figuring that I could grow my coding knowledge from there, and creating a backbone for future studies...

I cant for the life of me get this to work. Do you have any insight? Thanks in advance

Welcome to the NinjaTrader forums!

A great way to understand the behavior, such as orders being placed or not being placed, or plots or drawing objects appearing or not appearing, is to print the information being used in the conditions to the output window.

Print the time of the bar, the BarsInProgress, and all values used in the condition.

Then save the output to a text file and include this with your next post.
